LONGEVITY TIPS

If given a choice, select fuel injection over carburetion. Fuel injection is preferable to carburetion because fuel injection distributes fuel more uniformly throughout all cylinders. An inferior intake manifold will allow concentrations of fuel/air mixture from the carburetor into some cylinders when others receive an overly lean mixture. The result is excessive fuel and deposits in the former cylinders and inadequate fuel and burned valves in the latter cylinders. This can result in oil contamination and accelerated wear.
